It's a long day...

Worked early this morning, then took the Big Blue Bus to UCLA to meet up with the wife.  We carpooled and literally made it in as the outdoor curtains were closing to reach our seats to watch Wicked at the Pantages Theater. 
I loved the show!  It has one of the most clever/original stories I've ever seen.  If you haven't seen or heard about it, the plot revolves around the story of "The Wizard of Oz".  

C then drops me off back at the office.  Yes, I'm at work.  Actually there's like 7 of us pulling a crazy all-nighter to upgrade our database.  We've had hiccups 2 previous times.  This third times seems to be the one that'll seal the deal.  I hope to be out of here by 4-5am.  I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I was even thinking of stopping by a local bookstore to pick up a copy of Harry Potter, but I wouldn't get a chance to read it anyways.  Might as well save myself a few dollars and buy it for $40% off later. 

Next week is the big Long Beach Dragon Boat race.  I'm really excited, but we also have practice in the morning.  So I hope I can fit in some zzZZzz's before we practice.  I'm sure people are expecting me to show up.  They're waiting to dump me into the water, it's a tradition when it's your birthday. 

That's reminds me.  My mom says I was born at 2am, so that means I'm exactly 32 years old!
